Program:
DAY 1 – Departure from Bédoin or Sainte Colombe
~ 50km stage between 1200 and 1600m of elevation gain over the day
Possibility of transfer from Dijon and to take pre-night in the region.
9 am: Meeting with your guide at Bédoin or Sainte-Colombe (possibility of parking vehicles). E-MTB equipment and departure with guide for the day of adventure.
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. : Picnic in Savoillan
~ 5 p.m. arrival in Buis-les-Baronnies
Installation at the hotel.
8 p.m. Dinner at the hotel restaurant.
DAY 2 – Buis les Baronnies – Vaison la Romaine
~ 50km stage between 1200 and 1600m of elevation gain over the day
After a full and hearty breakfast to have enough energy for the day,
meet your guide at the hotel,
9am: Departure for the day of electric-powered ATV adventure.
12:30pm – 1:30 pm: Picnic to La Chapelle de Paty or Propiac.
5pm : End of the route at Vaison la Romaine. Installation at the hotel.
8pm: Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 – Vaison la Romaine – Bédoin / Ste Colombe
Stage of ~ 48 km between 1000 and 1300m of elevation gain accumulated over the day
9am : Departure after breakfast for the last day of fun with a journey full of discoveries.
12:30 pm – 1:30pm : Picnic at Mont Serein.
5pm : End of the tour in the afternoon
Practical Aspect:
Things to bring :
- your stuffs for 3 sportive days,
- a backpack to bring your picnic and your belongings for the day,
- adapted clothing for the weather,
- bicycle helmet,
- bottle of water/ gourd or a camel-bag to transport 1,5L of water ,
- Snack (cereal bars, for instance)
- Any device to take pictures to sublimate your Instagram profile, share and tag your best pics at @activetoursfrance
You are :
A person maintaining his physical form and regularly practicing MTB at least the half of the year (a ride a week minimum).
Types of terrain:
Alleys or paths (“singles”) alternating rolling passages (most of the time), and passages with “obstacles”/ “obstructions” that could be avoided (rocks, tree stump, roots, ect), or slightly steeper trails.
Technical know-hows:
- Control your braking,
- Place your front wheel accurately,
- Choose an ideal trajectory.
