The Christmas village makes a resounding comeback on place Charles de Gaulle with fabulous, lit-up decorations. Have fun skating on the huge 200 m² ice rink. No more excuses, it’s the opportunity to try the fun of skating out without being a cavalier during the end of year festivities. So get your skates on, lots of fun awaits you!
And that’s not all, as the highly-anticipated carousel is also back, surrounded by stands full of tasty things where little and big foodies can sit down to enjoy delicious savoury or sweet treats.
Let magical Saturdays make your head turn, where each weekend magic fills the town centre with enchanting activities and shows, with Santa’s little train running around the town. Why not get off at the ""Les Santons"" stop to admire the giant Provençal crèche by Alain Marie, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year!
Don't miss the ""Christmas lights countdown"" followed by the spectacular show, ""Les horloges célestes” (the celestial clocks) and enjoy the hot roasted chestnuts that go with the traditional mulled wine (or hot chocolate!).
So there are the shows, the little train, the big Christmas parade, free activities in the Christmas village, the lights….
The grande finale of this programme, i.e. 7 days before Christmas Eve, is a sound, light and fireworks display that makes this an unmissable event at Christmas-time in Sorgues.
