Vertical marathon at Jardin Singulier and horizontal tasting of Cave la Romaine wines

Climbers and their guides are welcomed at the Jardin Singulier in Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux, an unusual and heavenly place that combines nature and culture, bookshop, publishing house, art trail, botanical trail, bike repair workshop and bikes for touring the Toulourenc valley, restaurant and bar, play area, reception area for climbers.... An unclassifiable place that's simply worth a visit to better understand, and to marvel at.

As part of the Vertical Marathon, which begins at 11am and ends at 6pm, and continues with a talk by French climber and mountaineer Catherine Destivelle, Cave la Romaine will be offering a horizontal tasting of its AOC Ventoux wines. The evening continues happily over pizzas.

The Cave Coopérative de Vaison-la-Romaine was founded in 1924. Today, it boasts 180 cooperative winegrowers.

The diversity of our wines is the result of a veritable mosaic of terroirs. The spacious, bright and pleasant cellar features a beautiful "Produits du Terroir" area, as well as a wide range of appellations, including a range of organic wines. As well as tasting the wines, discover the wine tourism offers such as guided tours, bike rides in the vineyards or oenology workshops. Throughout the year, a wide range of events are organized, including concerts with wine bars, food trucks and all kinds of entertainment.
