Heritage Day

This authentic event revives the heritage of skills and traditions deeply rooted in each village at the foot of Mont Ventoux.

The village enclosure is transformed into a vast pedestrian area where everyone contributes to faithfully recreating the atmosphere of the turn of the century. Alleys, squares and monuments return to the rhythm of the past, with the tranquility of getting around on foot, horseback or bicycle. The old center of Pernes is undergoing a veritable transformation, with most inhabitants donning traditional Comtadin costumes and bringing out the machines and tools of yesteryear. This is not folklore, but a respectful tribute and a real journey back in time, far beyond a simple celebration of traditions.
