Discovery Trail at the Petit Défend and Pérégrine Protected Natural Sites

Vaucluse General Council invites you to discover the Sensitive Natural Area, remarkable for its flora and fauna, its landscape and heritage. The scent of thyme will accompany you along this journey of 7,6km, discovering its most valuable asset: its view of Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles and the village of Venasque.
From the post Souveilles take eastward up the bed of the Nesque marked in yellow and red on 2.2 km. The transition to post Roberte, then Background Nesque veer south for 1.8 km "0:40" to go back without much difficulty the valley of the devil marked in yellow towards Chinardon. On the end of the climb, at the coast 400, veer slightly to the right and take the small path that leads to the post Chinardon. Leave the GR and turn right into the forest trail marked in yellow in the direction of Peregrine, the discovery of garrigue and Mediterranean forests. The Peregrine to the post, leave on your left towards the Vas to go right back The Souveilles section.
