Saint Trinit, a village rich with religious heritage. A soothing village with its authentic little streets inviting you for a stroll to discover its Romanesque church of the 12th century. The ancient priory, with its remarkable door, faces the church.
Saint Trinit keeps its name and its Romanesque church of the 12th century from the monks of the Saint-André de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Classified as a historical monument since 1915, the magnificent building is a perfect example of the Romanesque architecture of the region.
Coming out of the village, near the wash house, you may picnic on an area equipped and labelled for tourism and the disabled while watching the unremitting comings and goings of lavender crates, ready to be distilled at the distillery.
Surrounded by vast forests of pine trees, oak trees and beech trees, the area is favourable to mushrooms, and the village honours them each 2nd Sunday of October.
