Château d'Entrechaux

This castle was both co-owned by the bishops of Vaison and the local lord. A feudal castle with ramparts, keep, cisterns and chapel.

Guided tours of the castle restoration site by volunteer guides from the Association de Sauvegarde du Château d'Entrechaux and/or the owner: you'll be particularly impressed by the 360-degree view of the surrounding villages!
> In July and August, every Monday and Thursday evening at 5pm (except 11/07 and 15/08) for a guided tour lasting around 1h30.
> All year round by appointment on 06 27 84 59 97 (minimum 6 people).
> Special opening for Heritage Days in September.

A number of workshops are currently on offer to members of the Association pour la Sauvegarde du Château d'Entrechaux (annual subscription €20 per person or €30 per couple): historical research on the château, workshops on creating coats of arms (lords and bishops of Vaison). Don't hesitate to ask for details of workshop dates and times, and of all the association's research activities.

Parking: parking lot at the first rampart, or public parking lot in the village, then take the 5-minute climb up to the château, which offers breathtaking views over Entrechaux.
Bring suitable footwear for the visit.
