At the foot of the walls encircling the old village lies the typically Provençal Place de la Bourgade, with its fountain in the shade of hundred-year-old plane trees. The Templars also left their mark in Grillon through theirs canals and watermills which contributede towards its industrial dynamism in the 19th century. Nowadays, Grillon is a pleasant village to live in.
