Tourist service in Caumont-sur-Durance :
This church is the 4th church to stand here. It was built between 1777 and 1788 to replace the Chapel of the Pénitents which had become too small. It is impressive, yet solemn, and is one of the biggest churches in county Vaucluse.
The dimensions of the nave are 41.3m long, 11.3m wide and 19.5m high at the keystone.
Inside are many statues from the long ago past, and paintings from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries including a very beautiful "Annunciation" by Nicolas Mignard.
