Find out more
Saint André Abbey had a wide influence in the region, with more than 200 priories from Uzès to Forcalquier. Rebuilt in the 17th and 18th centuries according to plans by Pierre Mignard, its buildings were partially demolished after the French Revolution.

Tuscan flowerbeds, century-old olive trees and other mediterranean plants grow amidst terraces, ponds and vestiges of Romanesque churches. The cypress-lined botanical trail provides sweeping views across Mont-Ventoux, the Luberon, the Alpilles and the Palais des Papes. The site is labelled a "Jardin remarquable" (remarkable garden).
