Hello, my name is Laurence. I'm a French teacher. I have extensive experience teaching French to foreigners. I spent my childhood in the United States, and later lived in Russia. Back in France, I decided to open our home to share the love of Provence with our guests.
I've been working as an adult educator and communications consultant for many years. As I know the business world well, I'm able to teach business French as well as specialty French. My background is in literature, so I enjoy sharing our rich written, spoken and sung heritage, as well as cultural and historical aspects, and social issues.

As a media specialist, I propose to study authentic documents and print and audiovisual media. As I am interested in language sciences, I am always careful to ensure that learning methods and the organization of lessons are in line with the student's profile and needs, which can be readjusted on request during the learning process.

If you wish, you will be free to walk around town or practice your favorite sports. I'll be happy to open up my address book to you and make recommendations to suit your tastes and desires. I'll always be at your side, whenever you like, to accompany you as you discover our splendid region, whether by car, bicycle or hiking trail.

We'll discover natural wonders such as the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Gorges du Toulourenc or the nearby Mont Ventoux; the historical architectural heritage with the must-see ancient sites of Vaison, the medieval castle of Le Barroux, the Madeleine monastery, the 12 perched villages, or further afield the Luberon region or the towns of Carpentras and Avignon; meet local producers, with tastings of local produce and wine-tourism tours of the Grand Cru vineyards. Vines, lavender, olive trees, fruit trees and saffron are just some of the local specialties.

Together we'll go to the famous Provencal market in Vaison, and if you wish, I'll offer cooking classes, with recipes from traditional French cuisine and Provencal specialties. Depending on your level, we can also take advantage of every opportunity to go to the cinema or the theater, to attend lectures, or to attend the many festivals and events on offer in and around Vaison throughout the year.
