We are a Provencal family with a long history in distillation, specifically in lavender essential oils with 30 years of know-how. From renowned truffle merchants to the first cellar of fine wines and homemade lemonade, craft has always been in our family. The last generation then spent 20 years wandering abroad, soaking up different cultures and discovering spirits. Finally, Distillerie Le Vadrouilleur was born

We have returned to our origins with one goal in mind, to provide a truly local gin inspired by the Ventoux, the Giant of Provence. Above all, we have used the knowledge and heritage of our ancestors in the making of our product, from our distant past to the present day. We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy our local gin produced by the Distillerie Le Vadrouilleur.

The aim of Le Vadrouilleur distillery is to provide good quality artisanal spirits with organic raw materials. Most of all, concern for the environment is paramount in each of our choices and decisions. The majority of our raw materials come from within a 20 km radius of the Pays de Sault in France.

We wish to highlight our beautiful region of Provence and its enchanting landscapes and atypical plants. Moreover, our countryside provides unequalled aromatic plants all year round. The major part of these plants have been harvested around Mont Ventoux. The unmissable single mountain with its white summit, the Giant of Provence, personifies the territory of Haute Provence.

The distillery is located in the capital of lavender in Haute Provence, Sault. In the heart of the village, we overlook the lavender fields. We are above all happy to welcome you to our distillery for visits and workshops.
