Tourist service in Bédoin :
Bedoin lies between Mont Ventoux and Carpentras. It is the largest forest in France and has 6,300 hectares. Don’t miss some of the old beautiful houses, the 12th and 13th-century ruins of the surrounding wall, three beautiful fountains, a number of drystone walled sheep pens, the site of the famous well dressed “Demoiselles”, the 19th-century observatory, the radio relay system and radar station at the top of Mont Ventoux. The village has some very rich architecture, including the early 18th-century Jesuit style Saint Antonin Parish Church, which was altered in the 19th-century, the 12th-century Romanesque Madeleine Chapel, and many other small chapels and oratories. There is a magnificent view overlooking the ’Col des Tempetes’Equipment
