Carpentras Tourist Office

Carpentras, capital of Comtat Venaissin, offers visitors the legacy of a rich history as seen by the presence of the Popes over several centuries. Located in the heart of rich agricultural plains and slopes of Mont Ventoux, the destination offers a thousand faces.Inside the Tourist Information Office, there is an Espace Terroir , where you can discover, and buy, local produce and handicrafts from around Ventoux (such as strawberries in Spring and truffles in Winter).There is a permanent exhibition of Ventoux agricultural produce, with wines and a selection of other seasonal produce on sale. During events, you can meet the wine-makers at the 'Afterworks' evenings. This area is open all year round. Different opening times depending on month.
