Artisan workshops are starting
Do you like working with materials but need some professional advice? Find out about the workshops organised by artisans in the Vaucluse. Whether you are passionate about pottery, jewellery-making, ceramics or making candles, you’ll find what you want in these new creative experiences and will learn techniques for making craft pieces.
Pottery and sculpting at Beaumes-de-Venise
With Noémi Berliner
Noémi Berliner combines her love of clay with manual work in her profession as a ceramicist.
Through the course of a day she’ll share various techniques with you that enable you to create the pieces you want in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. It gives a taster of how enjoyable creating things is. Each participant works on their own creation in their own way. You can take your creation with you at the end of the day or leave it to be fired.
The workshops are open to a wide public, whether they are beginners or experienced, adults or young people.
Fragranced candles at Cucuron
At the Ateliers Joséphine
Agnès will show you how to make your own lightly fragranced, entirely plant-based craft candles. The workshops include learning about wax, choosing fragrances, making a candle by hand and creating a personalised label.
You can take the candle you have made home with you.
Silver rings at La Bastidonne
At the Atelier Gaïa et Luna
After a short introduction to the tools and techniques used in metal-working, you will have the opportunity to make a bespoke silver ring that suits your style using tools such as the saw frame and blowtorch. Laurence welcomes you in her private studio at the foot of the Luberon, where creativity comes to life!
You’ll share her passion for working with metal for an afternoon.
Ceramics at Séguret
With Amélie Berthéas
Amélie invites you to explore the world of pottery in workshops introducing you to sculpting, working with coils and slabs, with the opportunity to make candle holders, small jars, decorations or even little creatures for the garden.
Let your creativity flow and personalise your creations for a unique result.
Santons at Séguret
At the Les 3 Souquets workshop
Explore Denis Voeux’s workshop, a passionate artisan-santon maker tucked away at the foot of the village of Séguret, one of the most Beautiful Villages in France.
In this place where history can be seen everywhere, the artisan brings santons inspired by real people to life, whose profession and commitment have made a strong impression on Denis.
During the tour of the Les 3 Souquets, Denis will show you the various stages in making a santon, and will sculpt a character.
